Vintage Primitive Eastern European Spoon Rack

Hand carved from a lightweight birch, or pine, this lovely primitive spoon rack adds a rustic, vernacular feel to any kitchen interior.

A very common object in rural European kitchens, holding in place the valuable kitchen utensils of a household.

We have sourced 3, slightly older, hand carved spoons to match this rack, creating an overall set which all fit perfect together.

We estimate this rack to be mid century, and not older, due to the galvanised nails to the rear and its overall wear.

Equally useable as a pipe rack, or to store dried flowers as we have displayed here.

Spoons included in the sale.

Overall fantastic condition, with historic treated woodworm, at some point has been waxed.
