A 18th/19th Century Syrian jug, used for storing oils or milk.
It has a beautifully worn patination from years of wear and is wonderfully ancient looking, a uniqueness that we absolutely love finding.
It is a strong pot, although at some point in its life it seems to have had a repair across a hairline crack, which doesn't affect it's integrity.
