Antique Late 19th Century Wrought Iron Eel Spear
£155.00
An incredible example of a very gruesome looking eel spear, fully forged by the hands of a blacksmith over 100 years ago.
Fantastically decorative, the iron has pitted ever so slightly, adding an almost medieval feel to it.
It has been forged with a socketed construction, which originally would have held the wooden shaft of the spear, this allows it now to be mounted on a wall with ease.
A very hefty thing, in fantastic condition and a great survivor.
Dimensions:
Height x 55cm
Width x 15cm widest point.
Has age related marks and wear.
